Mock-parachute time

December 11, 2006

Making the bed used to be such an easy task. These days it is still easy but takes about three times as long. First, everything is pulled off the bed. Then Clyde jumps in the bed, Melina runs up beside him and says ”up” so up she goes and the two of them sit there waiting. . . .the sheet goes on and she cracks up and rolls around. Clyde chases the corners trying to catch them which just makes her crack up more. The comforter goes on and Clyde takes off. Melina insists that we sing the parachute song from either Gymboree and Tumbling while I fluff the comforter. Once that is done, we put the pillows on the bed and then both flop down and bounce around. Gone are the days of having a neat looking bed, but hey, at least it is made.
