Curb Appeal: The Demolition Phase
September 28, 2004Our first "real" work for Curb Appeal began on September 17th with the demolition phase of the project.
Our designer Yvonne wanted our old rusty iron fence and the unkempt hedge gone. Easier said than done!
Here is a picture of the house before we started.

My good friend Eric Wright brought down his trusty saws-all, and together we made short work for the fence.

The fence took about an hour to cut down, and having 2 saws definitely helped. The hedge, on the other hand, had to be pulled up by brute force and took about 2 hours. When we were finished, we had no fence, no hedge and a nice big pile of dirt in the curb-side lawn.

Bath Time for Clyde
September 28, 2004Today Clyde kitten had his third bath. I believe over time he has learned that bath time is not a very enjoyable time for him. He loves water and insists on sitting on the edge of the bathtub while I shower each morning and drinking water out of every plant, toilet, glass and sink in the house, however, for some reason he just does not like having his whole body (head excluded) emerged in the kitty bathing tub. Hmm. Well, needless to say he is not a happy kitty with me today. I on the other hand am quite pleased with my fresh smelling kitty.
