Happy New Year, how about some flooding?
December 31, 2005 We woke up this morning to a flash flood surrounding the Johnston casa. We are essentially surrounded by water. The street in front and to the side of our house is a river, and the San Anselmo creek behind us is about a foot deep into our back yard.
The good news is, we are ok. We have electricity (and wifi). We are being told to stay in the house.
Also, becuase of our neighbors early morning call, i was able to move the ultimate driving machine before water could get in under the floor boards and the engine.
